This life-sized model, crafted from specialized plastic, is enlarged to approximately 3 times the natural size. The posterior part of the kidney tissue has been partially removed, offering a clear view of the renal pyramids in both relief and cross-section. The renal pelvis is open. The cortical structures and adipose tissue are also shown. The model consists of a single piece and is mounted on a base.
