GENERAL APPLICATIONS

1. Designed in accordance with the anatomical features of a full-scale Holstein-Friesian cow, the simulator allows clinical examination, restraint, handling-tying, and birthing applications to be performed under realistic conditions.
2. Thanks to its anatomical pelvis structure and functional birth canal, it enables the development of skills in obstetrical examination and birthing intervention.
3. Its flexible and transparent uterus structure allows for the simultaneous observation of fetal position, progress through the birth canal, and obstetrical interventions.
4. Featuring a compression system that simulates maternal expulsive forces during labor, it allows the normal birthing mechanism to be practiced in a life-like manner.
5. With its anatomically realistic tail, it enables safe and repeatable practice of high and low epidural anesthesia applications.
6. It offers practical training opportunities via an inflatable rumen system that mimics late-gestation anatomical placement and can be inflated according to clinical scenarios.
7. It supports udder examination training with its anatomically realistic, healthy udder and teat structure.
8. The rear loading hatch allows the calf model to be easily inserted and training applications to be comfortably observed.
9. Thanks to the calf model’s articulated spine, head, neck, and limb joints, anatomical calf movements are realistically simulated, enabling the application of various fetal positions, postures, and presentations (dystocia).
10. The steel socket located in the calf model’s eye orbit allows eye hook applications to be performed safely.
11. Its anatomical anus structure supports post-birth body temperature measurement training.
12. Prominent bony landmarks provide anatomical guidance to the veterinarian during birthing intervention.
