LARYNX

This model, made from specialized plastic, is twice larger than its natural size. It consists of 5 parts. The model can be separated into two pieces along the midline to reveal the internal and external laryngeal muscles, mucous membranes, arteries, nerves, and cartilaginous structures. The detachable components include right thyroid cartilage, cricothyroid muscle, and thyrohyoid muscle. It is mounted on a base.
