Larynx

This model, made from specialized plastic, is enlarged to twice its natural size. It consists of 5 pieces. The model can be separated into two halves along the midline to reveal the internal and external laryngeal muscles, mucous membranes, arteries, nerves, and cartilaginous structures. Detachable components include the right thyroid cartilage, cricothyroid muscle, and thyrohyoid muscle. It is mounted on a base.
