GENERAL APPLICATIONS

1. Blood collection exercises can be performed using simulated blood (IV Puncture: development of venipuncture techniques, Injection: medication administration simulations, Blood Collection: blood drawing using vacuum tubes or standard syringes, Transfusion: fluid transfer applications using blood bags and infusion sets).
2. When the vein is entered with a needle, it simulates real blood flow through the filling speed and color of the simulated blood fluid accumulating in the chamber.
3. IV puncture, injection, transfusion, and blood drawing procedures through the basilic, cephalic, antecubital veins in the forearm, as well as the metacarpal vein on the dorsal surface of the hand.
4. IM injection into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm.
